Pear Trees

Pear Trees are long lived and home grown pears have a fantastic taste. Pear trees will fruit in September, with some cultivars fruiting into December in some areas. The Pear tree (Pyrus comminus) prefers full sun and will fruit after 3 - 4 years.

Size of Pear Tree

This will depend on the rootstock. Pear Tree Rootstocks include Quince A and Quince C. Both will keep pear trees to a reasonable size.
