Garden Shows in the UK 2012
When we think of garden shows in the UK a few big events immediatly spring to mind, The Chelsea Garden Show and The Malvern Spring Show are standouts. These are large gardening events with thousands of visitors from all over the world, you will probably need to but tickets well in advance for the Chelsea Show, it really is a popular event.
However lots of smaller garden shows and plant fairs are also worthy of attention, they may not be as big, or indeed as famous, however they do present a different view of gardening, perhaps more focus on individual types of plants or species.
Consider the Garden Shows put on by the Scottish Rock Garden Club and the Alpine Garden Society, some absolutley amazing displays of plants from some of the most knowledgeble gardeners in the UK.
The Rare Plant Fairs and Garden Shows put on by groups of specialist plant growers are also a fascinating place to visit, garden shows and plant fairs big and small, all worth a visit inevery region of the UK.
