Anemone are fron the Buttercup family and provide us with a range of very pretty flowering woodland plants. Look for anemone apennia with its blue flowers and soft foliage. Anemone nemorosa (wood anemone) is a widely spread and easy to grow species and can be grown in pots or containers as well as in the garden.

These lovely plants prefer part shade and a humus rich moist well drained soil for best results.
