Chilli plants or chilli pepper plants require similar conditions to tomato plants. At least 6-8 hours of sun ina well drained humus rich soil. A warm sheltered position or a hothouse or greenhouse will yeild best results.

Chilli plants are best plated outdoors at the begining of summer, seeds may be started indoors during spring and planted out later. Some bottom heat from a propagating tray is beneficial.
