Blue Moon Rose

A wonderfully fragrant hybrid tea rose, 'Blue Moon' has pale lilac to mauve flowers, the bud is tight when opening and the fragrance is sweet and the flowers large.

Available as a climbing rose as well as a bush rose, to make the most of the perfume plant in a warm, sunny protected position. Released by Tantau in 1965 'Blue Moon' will reach around 1m in height and is repeat flowering. Very fragrant, however suspect to blackspot and powdery mildew.

And look for the new release 'Twice in a Blue Moon' said to be even better.
