Cumin Plants

Grown mainly for its seeds which are ground or used whole in many indian and middle easter dishes this is one plant that we will give a miss and just go and buy some....

Growing Cumin in the kitchen garden

Cumin can be a little difficult to grow. It requires lots of water, a shady position but a well drained soil, the growing season is long and in the UK we really do not have the right climate, you can do it, but would you really bother.

But you want to try, well OK. Grow it in a conservatory or greenhouse, forget growing outside in the UK. ( and yes we know someone will prove us wrong, but really it needs a little help)
